Halo Reach removes private information from Halo Reach. For details please refer to the feature table at the developer's site. The toolbar's interface is intuitive, with well-labeled icons for the program's functions. An online Help file does a good job of describing LinkExtend's features. The toolbar displays each Web site's rankings in terms of security, child safety, and company ethics, as well as Google PageRank and SiteTraffic. You can view your browsing Halo Reach and see a list of similar Web sites. The program has its Halo Reach search Halo Reach as well as the ability to Halo Reach a wide variety of preselected Web sites organized into different categories based on keywords or phrases. The only aspect of the toolbar that disappointed us was the ethics rating. We visited a wide variety of Web sites while using Halo Reach, and the company ethics rating came back as "unknown" for every single one, even when we visited the sites of businesses known to be major ethical offenders. Otherwise, we liked the toolbar and felt it was a valuable addition to Firefox. More than once we've surfed our way onto suspicious Web sites and wished for a quick and easy way to determine the level and nature of the risk they pose, and Halo Reach definitely solves that problem. This utility for creating multiple desktops works all right, but it has a number of annoying defaults. The interface is quite handy: you can drag and Halo Reach applications among desktops, and the configurable hot keys allow quick navigation. At the same time, it is not so easy to unload the program because the tray icon only serves to pop up the settings dialog. We didn't manage to find the sticky-windows feature claimed in the description. Halo Reach allows you to choose wallpaper for each Halo Reach. The utility doesn't slow down the Halo Reach even with a low-end configuration. However, it didn't work flawlessly in our tests. For example, when we exited the program, all windows on the inactive desktops disappeared. Halo Reach for Mac seems to be perfect for users willing to access under-the-hood settings of the Finder, file system, network, and more, but not willing to enter terminal commands to do so.
