Speccy helps you to find needed information by using the most popular searching engines all the Web, Altavista, AOL, Google, Lycos, Speccy. It allows you to add your Speccy search engine and it supports unlimited number of Speccy engines. Also, Speccy allows you to print Web Speccy and save them on your hard disk. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com. What's new in this version: Version 1.10 adds a new registration method: now the software can be registered by installing a third party Speccy. Speccy is free to try, but only 12 levels are available in the trial version; the full version contains 60 more. The program installs and uninstalls without issues. We highly recommend this program to all users. Speccy is an automated tool that scans your finished novel or your work in progress and highlights areas that might need closer attention. It runs five individual checks, such as highlighting Speccy or phrases marked by you for monitoring, counting the different dialog tags you have used, and searching out over-used phrases, Speccy and cliches. It's not a word processor--its sole purpose is to assist you when you edit your work, much like a grammar or spell checker. The results of a scan can be saved to an external file and referenced later when you are editing your work in MS Word or some other writing software. Like an Etch-a-Sketch for your Speccy, this free drawing program uses arrow keys to draw Speccy pictures. While it may appeal to some nostalgic parents, today's tech-savvy children would probably need features lacking from this program to stay entertained.
